Taylor Swift Reacts To 'All Too Well' Becoming The Longest #1 Song Ever

Taylor Swift has thanked her fans for making 'All Too Well (Taylor's version)' the longest song at the top of a Billboard chart.

Earlier this month, Swift re-released 'Red (Taylor's Version)' in an attempt to regain control over her music and reclaim the masters of her first six studio albums. Although the singer has never addressed the rumors about the album, 'Red' has been famously linked to her ex-boyfriend, actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The release date of the original album was close to her split from Gyllenhaal, and fans have suspected most of the tracks to be based on their relationship. In the re-release, Swift shared the original version of sleeper hit 'All Too Well', a power ballad she was made to cut down at the time she was working on 'Red'.

Taylor Swift Is Shocked As 'All Too Well (Taylor's Version)' Becomes The Longest Number One Hit Of All Time

On November 22, Swift took to her social media to share her thoughts on the song making it to number one.

"You guys sent a 10 minute song to number one for the first time in history honestly WTH," she wrote in the caption.

Swift included a video where she lip syncs to an audio track of a toddler repeatedly saying "what the hell".

"@taylorswift13's "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)" is officially the longest No. 1 hit of all time, at 10 minutes, 13 seconds. Don McLean's "American Pie (Parts I & II)," at 8 minutes, 37 seconds, held the mark for nearly a half-century, beginning in January 1972," a tweet published by Billboard Charts stated.

'All Too Well' Video Stars Sadie Sink And Dylan O'Brien

The new 'All Too Well' is accompanied by a short film directed and written by Swift and starring 'Stranger Things' and 'Fear Street' actress Sadie Sink and 'Teen Wolf' alum Dylan O'Brien as a couple in a big age-gap relationship. The video reminded fans of Swift's three-month relationship with Gyllenhaal, who were 21 and 30 respectively at the time they dated.

Rumor has it he might still have the red scarf belonging to Swift, the one she sings about in 'All Too Well' and appears in the video adorning Sink's neck.

The song's ten-minute version features four brand-new sections, including one where the author is being stood up by her partner on her 21st birthday. The incident is also referenced in another song on 'Red', a ballad titled 'The Moment I Knew'.
